Operating Theatre, Chungkai Hospital Camp 1943-1944 : Colonel ‘Weary’ Dunlop (facing) and Captain J ‘Marko’ Markowitz (back view) working on a thigh amputation case. The Theatre was about twelve feet square within a bamboo and attap hut.
