Inventory description: Manuscript invoice/ letter with printed letter-head John Jones, tailor; bill for a mess waistcoat supplied to Lt J P Wood, 34th Madras Light Infantry, to which John Jones has added a letter dated 2 Sept 1864 in which he thanks Lt Wood for his order and advises him that he has dispatched the waistcoat, addressed to ‘the officers of the 34th MNI, Singapore’; the invoice has been endorsed with the details of payment and signed by J P Wood.
