Inventory description: Letter from the Duke of Norfolk on behalf of William IV, to Stapleton Cotton, Viscount Combermere requesting the presence of him and his wife at William IV and Queen Adelaide’s Coronation in 1831. Viscount Combermere was a Colonel of the 1st Life Guards and became a Field Marshal and Constable of the Tower of London. From the collection of the former Buffs Regimental Museum.
