Inventory description: Letter, 10 May 1660; sent from Gen George Monck to Edward, Earl of Manchester, Speaker to the House of Lords; requesting that Mr Falconer, Storekeeper and Maj Francis Nicholls, Clerk of the Ordnance, and of Monck's own regiment, be left in their posts at the Tower of London and not superseded by the House of Lords' candidates until the wishes of the returning King Charles II be known.
