Letter written by Col C Armstrong, 1st Foot, to his daughter at Masulipatam; the letter was written from a camp at Murgies Pagoda, 5 miles above Prome, 8 Dec 1825, and stamped with ‘Madras/ bearing postage’ date stamp and rated ‘a/10’; Col Armstrong describes attacks on Burmese stockades and the capture of ordnance.
