Description
The Horse in War. Colour computer laser print poster for the National Army Museum Special Events weekend, 14-15 Sep 2002. After the painting by Richard Caton Woodville, 'Cruel to be Kind', 1882, 2002. Produced by the Design Department of the National Army Museum, 2002. An officer shoots his injured horse, lying in the snow, with text in black, with National Army Museum logo bottom right. Associated with the 2nd Afghan War (1878-1880).
