Description
Chinese .60 in bolt action single shot jingal, 1900 (c). Chinese copy of the German Kummer rifle incorporating Ward and Beaumont patents. Manufactured at the Southern Tientsin Arsenal in 1895. This bolt-action rampart rifle is a copy of the German Kummer action. It is believed that Kummer himself worked at the Arsenal advising the Chinese on manufacturing these weapons. Taken during the Boxer Rising in 1900.
