L’Affaire Cotton. Typescript article by I B Copley. In the article the author examines the extent to which a head wound contributed towards the surrender of Helvetia, 28-29 Dec 1900. Maj Stapleton Lynch Cotton was subsequently court martialled for this offence. Associated with the Boer War.
