Diaries, 1900 and 1901.
The diaries describe Lt Col SIr George Frederick Gorringe's service as Kitchener's Aide-de-Camp and Deputy Assistant Adjuant General with responsibility for transport and railways, January-November 1900. Later entries refer to command of a column in the Transvaal and Cape Colony until he left South Africa in 1901.
