Thirty-one 35 mm colour transparencies taken by Dr C A R Schulenburg, relating to Boer prisoners of war on Bermuda, 1901-1902. Dr Schulenburg was the son of Dr August Care Schulenburg, a prisoner of war in Bermuda, who was responsible for the formation of the Burt’s Island Industrial Association, which collected and sold the carvings and souvenirs made by Boer prisoners of war.
