Description
Novelty silver inkwell, 1900. Manufactured by the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company Ltd, 112 Regent Street. A horse's hoof, surmounted by a bottle, engraved with a mounted trooper in a slouch hat;. Inscribed, 'Bethune's Horse' within an oval border, with the name of the regiment's commanding officer, Lt Col E C Bethune and thirty two other names.
