Leather wallet medical kit with strap and buckle, 1900 (c). Manufactured by Works and Laboratories of Burroughs, Wellcome and Company. Contains ten bottles with cork stoppers, including Quinine Bisulphate, Caffeine Compound, Potassium Permanganate and Vegetable Laxative, also contains a thermometer, bandage, adhesive plaster and safety pins. Associated with Aldred Frederick George Beresford, 10th Earl of Scarbrough, Boer War.
