Description
Iron ration, 1900 (c); Steel cylinder with convex ends; the body is made in two sections joined by a soldered on strip of metal, which can be pulled off by a tab to open the case; bears traces of black paint; given to Mr W H Williams, RMA, by Rifleman Thomas Cash and was issued during the Boer War.
