Description
Infantry Officer’s sword, 1892; patent solid hilt, earlier pattern converted in 1897; made by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall; used by Maj W E Logan Stewart, Welch Regiment, attached to 1st Mounted Infantry, during the Boer War (1899-1902) and his son, Capt J Logan Stewart, 44th Division, killed at Dunkirk, 1940. Associated with World War Two, North West Europe (1939-1943).
