Consisting of correspondence between FM Lord Fitzroy Somerset, 1st Baron Raglan, Commander in Chief and Lord Stratford de Redcliffe, the British Ambassador to Turkey. Concerning diplomatic relations with the Turks, and the question of reinforcements and aid to be expected from the Turks and the Turkish Army. Associated with the Crimean War (1854-1856).
