Certificate recording the marriage of John Cochrane, engineer, to Catherine Rachel Wright at Dudley in Worcestershire, dated 14 Feb 1846. From a collection of papers relating to the career of John Cochrane, engineer, with particular reference to his advisory role to the Crimean railway for the Board of Ordnance and consultation on the possible use of a submarine vehicle there devised by a Frenchman, E Lamiral and partner, 1854-1855. Associated with the Crimean War (1854-1856).
