Description
Tunic, captains’, 34th (Cumberland) Regiment of Foot, worn by Maj Henry E Bale, 1856-1859, pattern, 1856-1868. Scarlet with buff facings. Captain's embroidered rank badges, a crown and a star. Eight large, gilt metal regimental buttons. Edged with white piping. Associated with Crimean War (1854-1856).
