Small embroidered cloth purse.
Possibly belonged to Sgt Frederick Newman, 97th (Earl of Ulster's) Regiment of Foot, Crimean War (1854-1856). 
With drawstring opening; one blue side with blue applique circle within which red and purple applique flowers and hand embroidered flowers, stems and leaves.
Other side is made of red cloth with tweed cloth applique circle on which is embroidered red flowers with cream and white hand embroidery, a red rose is appliqued to the centre.
