Description
US survival knife, Gulf War, 1990. Associated with Cpl Kim Gittins, Royal Artillery, US Army Air Force. Gittins traded that knife with a US Army aviation/medevac unit that was serving in the same location. Made by the Ontario Knife Company, Ontario, Canada in 1990. Gittins served in Northern Ireland (four month tour in 1975-76 and in 1977-78), the Gulf War and in Bosnia (Apr - Oct 1997); he served from Aug 1971 to 1978 and from 1983 to 1994. Associated with the Gulf War 1990-1991.
