Photocopy of Page 36 from a typescript account of the life of Ross Lowis Mangles, Bengal Civil Service, including an extract from a letter in which he described how he carried the wounded Richard Taylor of the 37th for 5 miles from Arrah, an act which won him the Victoria Cross.
