Documents relating to the storming of Delhi, September, 1857 including detailed draft instructions for the attack on two gates (undated); memorandum of tools and stores required, 7th September; and list of Working Parties with instructions to officers as to their movements, 9th September. Included also are correspondence and diaries to and from Greathed describing his successful entry into Delhi, the sudden death of Gen Barnard from cholera, 6th October, and various engagements with the enemy.
