Photocopy of a letter to Lady Inglis by Col Thomas Theophilus Boileau, 20 Jul 1892. Enclosing an account of the events that led to the death of Lt Frederick William Birch. One of two letters of 1892, found by the donor in a copy of Lady Inglis' book, The Siege of Lucknow. Associated with the Siege of Lucknow, Indian Mutiny (1857-1859), 1857.
