Green painted metal entrenching tool, nd. Handle and blade fold either side of a central long bar, the blade is square shaped and has a slightly curved face and a worn pointed cutting edge. Worn as part of the Yugoslavian National Army (JNA) soldier’s kit belt. Associated with Kosovo. The entrenching tool is part of a collection of items relating to the service of Sgt David John Miles as a photographer in the Gulf and Kosovo. These items were previously exhibited at Worthing Museum.
