Letter from Francis Rawdon-Hastings, 2nd Earl of Moira and Commander of the forces for Scotland, to Lt Col William Mure of Caldwell, Renfrewshire Militia, 1805. Rawdon-Hastings expresses the appreciations of the Duke of York for Mure’s to allow volunteers from his regiment to enter line regiments.
