Medal for Merit awarded to QM Donald Ross, 95th Regiment of Foot, 1810.
Silver, bearing the hallmark ‘LONDON 1810’, with silver ring suspender. 
Obverse: Centrally, within a raised rim, an engraved stringed bugle horn, within the strings of which is the number ‘95’. Above, the title ‘RIFLE REGIMENT’. Below, the legend ‘REWARD OF MERIT’.

Ross was appointed Quartermaster on 3 Apr 1806, he served with the regiment at Waterloo and received a medal, he later became Adjutant of a Rifle Brigade.
