Bound autograph volume diary written by Capt, later Lt Col, Charles Ramus Forrest of the 3rd (The EastKent) Regiment of Foot (The Buffs) during his service in India and the Peninsular War from 6 Feb 1811 to 8 Dec 1814. Including a small number of sketches and an accompanying copy of a press cutting providing biographical information and details of water-colours by the diarist.
