Description
Manuscript letter from Sir William Lemon at Carclew, Cornwall to Mrs Frances Falck, 6 Feb 1808. Telling her he has recommended her son Niels to Col Buller of the 1st (or Royal) Regiment of Foot. From a collection of papers relating to the service and death of Mrs Falck's son, Lt Niels Falck at the Battle of Salamanca, Peninsular War (1808-1814), 22 July 1812.
