Typescript papers including a biography of Col Robert Campbell, 1779-1836.
Campbell spent the first part of his service in Canada with the Royal Nova Scotia Regiment, but transferred to the 52nd (Oxfordshire) Regiment of Foot, and saw service in the Peninsula, where he was wounded. Returning to Canada in 1834 (c), he died there in 1836. With the account is related correspondence, a photocopy of Campbell's record of service and an article about the Royal Nova Scotia Regiment.
