Seven letters to Dr John Woodward, 1 Jun to 19 Aug 1706, including a description of the Battle of Ramillies and the Siege of Menin. Two of the letters, including that containing the Ramillies account, are signed by a man called King (first name illegible), who presumably was an officer in Marlborough’s Army. By the handwriting, the letters could all be by the same author, although this is unclear as there is some variation between them. Transcribed extract from the letter concerning Ramillies is available. Associated with the Battle of Ramillies (1706) and the 1st Siege of Menin (1706), War of the Spanish Succession (1702-1713).
