The SS Dongola at sea. Watercolour signed lower right corner in pen and ink ‘Dennis G Woodcock’, by Dennis G Woodcock. P [and] O ship S S Dongola at sea, showing funnel and two masts, lifeboats and superstructure, orange lines along ship. On white card mount, no frame. Label refers to the HMT Dongola under Capt Spicer sailing from Southampton on 29 Oct 1914 to Bombay carrying 4th Bn The Buffs (TA). From the collection of the former Buffs Regimental Museum.
