Description
Whistle, 1917. Galvanised steel, manufactured by J Hudson and Company, Birmingham. Marked with 'WD' marks. Cyclindrical whistle with a longitudinal seam to the left of the seam. The end has a domed cap with a square section round loop welded on. Two rectangular apertures towards the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is capstan shaped and made of brass, with a slightly flaring aperture.
