Description
Mule trunk, 1917-1918. Made from wickerwork with Egyptian army markings. Owned by Captain Godfrey Spencer Tavener Dawson, MVO, 5th (Service) Bn, Royal Irish Regiment attached to the Egyptian Expeditionary Force when he used the trunk and 3rd (North Tipperary Militia) Bn, Royal Irish Regiment and used by him during World War One (1914-1918).
