Description
Brass crucifix, probably once owned by a soldier of the Connaught Rangers, 1917 (c). Found in a field hospital after the evacuation of wounded, following the Battle of Ramadi, near Baghad, 1917. Suspension ring at top, rectanglar with wooden inlaid cross at front; 5 rivets; figure of Christ crucified.
