Royal Garrison Artillery brooch, 1916 (c). Belonged to Gnr Robert Caple. Hallmarked ‘STERLING’, 1916 (c). Made from enamelled metal in the shape of a cannon, surmounted by a crown in red enamel, with two blue enamelled scrolls. Above scrolls is inscribed the words, ‘UBIQUE’ and the motto, ‘QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT’.
