Description
Postcard, embroidered with text, ‘RE’, for the Royal Engineers, 1916 (c). Made in France. With a six flags of the Allied Nations, tied together with a tricolour bow and joined with a laurel wreath; a horse shoe at the centre. Inscribed in ink verso, ‘From Tommy to Mother & Dad Xmas 1916’. Sent by Trp Thomas Long, North Irish Horse.
