Description

Lee-Enfield India Pattern Mk I* .303 in bolt action cavalry carbine, 1905. With magazine attached. Presented to Lt Col James Stenhouse Elliot VD on his retirement. Made by the Royal Small Arms Factory, Enfield. Issued to Assam Valley Light Horse. Used by the Home Guard during World War Two when it was fitted with modern sling swivels.
