Description
Signature seal taken from an Iranian soldier by Lt (later Maj) G Tickner on active service in Iraq during World War Two, 1941; brass, made in Iran 1940 (c); engraved with Arabic lettering, the name of an illiterate soldier who would have used it to stamp his name, suspension ring at end of stem.
