Airmail letter card sent to Mr W Weedon, Iver Heath (Buckinghamshire) by Sapper Roy Sparkes, 2nd Field Coy, Royal Australian Engineers, Palestine, Nov 1941; Sparkes comments that ‘At present paper and stamps to England are not plentiful and stamps being scarce Australian stamps are not allowed only English and it takes sometime to find a Tommy with one to spare’.
