Description
Two-handled sporting cup, 1940. Silver plate, no details catalogued, 1940 (c). Awarded to WO1 George Robert Browning, Indian Army Service Corps. Associated with the Indian Army. Inscribed, 'MURREE BREWERY GOLF CUP' and 'I.A.O.C./ RAWALPINDI'. With knopped lid, question-mark handles on ovoid body. Stepped base and reeded stem. On circular, ebonized wood plinth.
