Description
Manuscript letter, Kensington Palace November 1815. Written from Edward Duke of Kent to Sir Henry Torrens, in which he mentions that in view of the death of Lt George Todd of the 2nd Battalion of his Regiment (1st (or the Royal Scots) Regiment of Foot), he proposes that Ens Joseph Ambrose Collins be promoted to fill the vacany.
