Pattern 1853 socket bayonet for Enfield or Snider Enfield Arms, used by the Perthshire Volunteers, 1865 (c). Inscribed, 'V/ P (H/ 5[?]) 20/ 42 [the H appears above the 5, both are small and appear between the P and the 20]'.
