Bound manuscript order book. Compiled for an officer in the 2nd Garrison Battalion, 19 Jun 1815 - 29 Oct 1816. Containing copies of Regimental, Garrison and other orders written in several hands. Until 7 Dec 1815 the regiment was at Ostend brigaded with the 13th (later the 7th) Royal Veteran Bn and Hanoverian Brigade. From 2 Feb 1816 they were in Ireland at Fermoy with the 4th (Queen’s Own) Dragoons, 12th (The East Suffolk) Regiment of Foot, 16th (The Bedfordshire) Regiment of Foot, 62nd (The Wiltshire) Regiment of Foot and East Devon and Surrey Militia Regiments. 18 Mar they moved with the 8th (The King’s) Regiment of Foot and 82nd Regiment of Foot (Prince of Wales’s Volunteers). Reaching England on 7 Oct the remainder of the regiment was disbanded at Chelsea on 24 Oct.
