Plaque, 1947 (c); made of varnished oak with a suspension ring on the back; front bears a relief shield emblazoned with a Malayan kris in gold and a green square central to a red shield with a chamfered gold edge and central blue stripe; associated with Malaysian command. From a collection of plaques bearing the badges of formations and regiments associated with Gen Sir Frank Messervy.
