Description
Silver owl, 1929. Silver, maker's mark, 'B [and] F Ltd', hallmarked London, 1927-1928. Owl, a pattern presented to instructors on leaving, on a stepped cylindrical plinth, encircled by a silver band bearing a presentation inscription: 'STAFF COLLEGE QUETTA/ 1927-1929/ LT COL G O de R CHANNER 7th GURKHA RIFLES'. Presented to Lt Col George Osborne de Renzy Channer, 7th Gurkha Rifles, 1929. Associated with the Staff College, Quetta.
