Spoon, 1929. Silver, made by L and S, hallmarked Birmingham, 1924-1925. Believed to be a shooting trophy awarded to a soldier of the Royal Artillery, 1929. Head in the form of a shield upon a crowned laurel wreath with scrolled top, on the shield are two crossed rifles in silver upon blue enamel. Verso inscribed, 'WAZIRISTAN/ 1929'. Associated with India, North West Frontier (1920-1937).
