Description
Hand bell, 1929 (c). Silver, made by the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company Limited, hallmarked London, 1928-1929. Owned by Capt William Lowry Alston. Associated with 10th Bn 2nd Bn Bombay Pioneers and the Indian Army. With handle in the design of a fouled anchor and separate clapper of a ball on a stick with a hooked end, and one link of a chain.
