Indian club, owned by Lt Col F G Burnaby, Royal Horse Guards (The Blues), 1884 (c) Carved from solid wood into the shape of a teardrop with a dark stained surface; the handle has been carved into ridges to improve the grip; above the handle is a broad iron collar; the widest part of the club has been carved with two parallel lines; above this an area of the surface has been severely worm eaten and fallen in; at the base is a broken off stand fixed with two pins;
