Description
Sabretache, officers’, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1799 (c). Black Morocco leather. Originally the frontal flap of this sabretache was probably covered with a fur such as leopard skin. The badge bears the letter 'C', the cypher of Queen Charlotte, wife of King George III.
