Containing orders issued during the annual embodiment of the regiment, 1850-1866.
The orders deal with administration, parades, inspections and contain informations on the regiment's uniform and the mode of wearing it. Also included are a letter of August 1847 from Col The Hon R H Clive offering a coronetcy in the regiment to the son of R Smith Esq, and a copy on paper watermarked 1867 of the 29th codicil of the will of Lt Col Thomas Nash, 23rd Light Dragoons, made 1785 (c).
