Polished, fawn malacca cane, tapering to a point with a battered silver ferrule; silver head engraved on the side, ‘STAFF SERGT FROST’, and on the front with the device of the cross of St George with a garter and motto, star, laurel sprays and monarchical crown, a scroll is inscribed with the corps name, Voluntary Medical Corps, Maidstone Company; hallmarked Birmingham 1890-1891.
